Default 1998 S70 T5M Radio Code

I recently unhooked my battery to install my K&N Air intake on my S70. After everything was installed etc i turn the car on only to realize i now need a code to get my radio working again. I checked my owners manual etc trying to find the code to no avail. Any clues as to how or where i may find the code would be helpful. Thanx...

You need to get it from a dealer. They should do this for free. Most do it over the phone.

Tried the 3 closest Volvo dealers and only 1 would do it over the phone and he gave me one that did not work. Anybody have a number for one that they know does them over the phone with a decent success rate???

It's not in the manual. Your car came with a "wallet" of which the manual was the largest part. There are also several credit card sized cards in it , one of which has the code. I realize that you may not have the wallet but thought i would throw it out there anyway.

top of radio itself (pull it out), or fuse box cover. That is where I rewrite all radio codes. (but thats just me)

Many of these cars have had the radio changed out so about 1/2 of them are good with the cards. I just started writing them on the bottom of the radio, usually I write them in the passenger side sun visor mirror lid. That way I don't have to pull the radio out just to get the code off the bottom.
