Default another PCV question.

Ok guys I know the pcv system's on these cars are on here all the time so i appologize. I just replaced the entire system 10,000 miles or so ago. I had been getting an oil smell through the vents. so i pulled the cover off the top of the motor, and of course it had oil all over it. the problem was that the pcv hose came off. put it back 3 times since each time it comes off and blows oil all over the top of my engine (yes hose clamp is tight). I have been riding with out the cover on? didn't think they would design that to hold down the hose. and again the clamp is tight!

Any and all Ideas ??

thanks

did you ither replace all hoses, or clean them extremely well? even the small vacuum hoses.

something is blocked up if pressure is blowing it off. Also you got the hoses going to the right places?

Look under the intake and make sure you installed the hoses correctly. Some pictures on the parts website have them switched. Don't know why they haven't corrected the pictures.

Correct Way:

Incorrect way (from FCP's Site):
