1999 S70 first Volvo question
I have the opportunity to buy a 99 S70 with 188,000 miles on it. It is a 1 owner owned by a retired gentleman who passed. It runs good and has new tires and brakes. In great condition and I can pick it up for $1000. I have never owned a Volvo and was wondering if this is a good deal. It is a GLT. I can upload pics later, but what should I look for and what kind of mileage can I expect. Right now I am driving an 02 Saturn SL that is a beater. Thanks, Tim

I got a 2000 GLT SE. It's got full electronic control, so little different. I get around 28 AVG.
About due for a timing belt. The strut bushings will fail soon is they haven't been replaced already. Transmission if it hasn't been maintained over the years may develop problems. Other than those and a few other up-keep things great cars. Put 60k on mine since I got it 2 years ago. Just been changing the oil, no issues whatsoever, knock on wood.
