1999 S70 - No readiness monitors
I have a ‘99 S70 that needs CT emissions test. Went twice to be told the car was not ready before I realized there might be a problem.
Bought a cheap scan tool and hooking it up only ever shows the comprehensive component ready. All other monitors down. Have tried taking it out for a long drive and can not get anything to ready. Have tried flywheel adaptation but very hard to do in this area. Coasting down to 1000 rpm even at 1:30am on the highway is hard.
Car starts, runs and idles fine. Wondering if the PCM is bad? Seems if so the car would not run well or at all?
Any advice is most appreciated. This is so incredibly stressful. I thought I found a gem here but may have gotten burned.
Thanks!

Heres a drive cycle that someone had luck with, might be similar to your car:

Otherwise it is very common and very difficult to get these cars to set their cycles, my 96 850 was the same way.

If you take your car in and it fails the OBD2 test, CT emissions gives you 60 days to do a retest. That should give you time to run a drive cycle or just allow the resets to happen. Just make sure your tester submits the paperwork and gives you a receipt to support the retest. (details on the ctemissions.com web site)
