2000 s70, 5spd. Won't start when parked on incline.

I'm new to the Volvo family.... Got my S70 about a month ago!
130k miles, bought from dealer that sold it new in 2000.
Overall, car is a 9 out of 10, condition-wise... Dealer had stacks of
maintenance records to show the car has been pretty well taken care of.
Question: why, when parked on an incline ( nose UP about 15-20 degrees)
the car will crank as normal, but NOT start....???
I roll it back on flat ground, and crank for about 3-4 seconds, then it finally starts, and runs normal...
Any ideas? Volvo dealer hasn't a clue as to why....
Thanks all, and great forum!
Ps. I'm guessing that a 5spd. S70 isn't real common to see, judging by
the looks on the service writers face!
