Default Just drove home with Volvo #2!

About 2.5 years ago I purchased my first Volvo, a 1998 s70 with 89k miles on it. GLT, Arctic Blue.

Today, I drove away with a 2000 s70 with 121k miles on it, SE, w/ wood trim and Classic Red! Thanks to this forum and some frugality, I've been doing a lot of my own upkeep and intend to do more going forward. For living in an urban area and in an apartment, not so bad!

The new Red Ryder checked out great with my mechanic so I bought it for what I thought was a good price. There's some faint cracking on the timing belt so that'll be the first fix along w/ water pump.

In addition the ETS light came on, of COURSE a few hours after signing the papers. And I noticed a choking or hiccuping while accelerating only up to 20mph, on a cold engine. Of course, I figured it might just be a spark plug and my mechanic didn't pull any codes then! But nonetheless, it seems to be a doable fix and figured there would be a few odds-and-ends to take care of. My 98 s70 had quite a bit more to tackle.

Anyways, just wanted to post that! Hope to post more pics and fixes soon.
