I need help in installing my fog-lights. Should I remove the bumper to get to the holes for the upper brackets? What size bolts do I need

Nope... you can get to them from underneath.

If you got a kit, disregard the following. If you just got the lights and switch from a salvage yard or something... you'll need to get some other parts- there's at least 1 relay under the dash that needs to be added, and you also need a main lighting relay from a car equipped with fog lights, otherwise, they won't work (learned about the main lighting relay being a different part from Tech when I added a pair to my own S70 a month or so ago )

Well, my car is a '98, so it's different from yours and I don't have the part #'s handy... but the needed relays are in the relay panel under the dash. Compare your panel to one from a car with fogs (either a '99 or a '00) and see what relays it has that yours doesn't. Then, the main lighting relay is in the fuse/ relay panel under the hood near the wipers- the one with lots of fuses, not the one labeled "Main Relays." You'll have to unscrew the cover and open it up, and the main lighting relay is the big long rectangular one. It's labeled "Main Lighting Relay," conveniently. Good Luck!
