On June 8th, i was driving, when my Turbo started scraping and grinding very loudly. So luckily I was close to home so it was parked ever since. Now about 2 hours before this happened my oil pressure light came on which it does a lot goes on and off. Switch was replaced 4 months ago, anyway, 2 hours before this happened i added oil. Same type used in oil change 10w-30 but different brand. I started it a few times to make sure fluids didnt gel up. Yesterday, i took it for a drive. It started right up but the noise still loud. After about 2 min of driving it, the noise went away. Oil light still on and off. I started it again today cold start still no noise. Is it safe to say the turbo is still good? I was thinking maybe a blockage in an oil line. Perhaps turbo dried out but maybe the blockage got through and oil got to the turbo. I have a lot of sludge/dirt in there thanks to the pervious owner! Ha! Any help is appreciated! Thanks!!
