I recently bought a Thule rear cargo carrier for my 98 s70. Carrier comes with 4-pin adaptor to tail lights. I find nothing in Owners manual on connecting this. Any leads on this?

From what I understand, your question is, "where do you need to connect a wiring harness for a tow hitch?" If that is your questions, I could not see an wire connection under the car anywhere. It may be possible that one is behind the panels for the tail lights or in the trunk near the antenna.

My 960 has one wired near the antenna. Doesn't look factory.

 

I have a 2003 C70 convert. and tow a small junk trailer and my wave runner trailer. I just sliced into the rear lights ... turn, brake and driving with a standard 4 wire trailer kit.
I have used it for about a year with no problems. No dash lights come on saying I have a bulb problem.
