98 s70 glt

I am looking to replace the motor in 98 GLT w/auto trans does anyone know what years will exchange. i found a motor out of 99 c70 would I need to replace the ECU and harness ?

I would find a 850 motor or 98 S70 motor. 99 will take alot of work to get it going.

Should I look for a 98 motor or are there earlier years that will work as well

If I remember correctly, 97' 850 motors and 98' s70 motors are direct swap.

96-98 motors should be exactly the same.
