Default 98 T5 - distributor cap and rotor

Apparently not all 98's are the same. How do I know if my car has a distributor cap and rotor? Yes, this is probably a dumb question ...

Check the tune up kit on fcp or ipd. They will tell you what you need to replace for a massive tune up.

Well, it's pretty obvious that I have a distributor cap since I can see that's where all the spark plug wires get plugged into. I was confused as to whether or not I had a rotor in there, but I think it's either distributor cap + rotor or neither.

FCP Groton says to read the engine number on the sticker on the side of the timing belt cover. My cover was replaced the last time my belt was replaced, and there's no engine number on the sticker on the new cover.

Check with ipd. It should have something to do with your VIN.
