I can tell you easily what mods are done easily and will gain your power and or good handling.

Power

1. Stage Zero. This is done first before you mod your car. This will ensure that your car is running well and can handle the mods. Look in the second link in my signature to find out what Stage Zero is all about.

2. 3" mandrel bent downpipe.

3. 2.5" mandrel bent catback system with a free flowing muffler such as a BORLA or Magnaflow. If you upgrade your turbo to something bigger then your going to want to go with a 3" mandrel bent catback system instead of the 2.5".

4. Intake. K&N panel filter, BMC CDA, EST intake or EST panel filter, or create your own intake system.

5. ECU upgrade. And of course you were looking into the BSR PPC sold by EuroSportTuning (EST). IPD USA and RICA also sell a similar PPC system with they call a softloader.

These five mods will add nice power and sound to your car. Do the ECU last because then it will take into account all the other engine mods you have done.

Handling

1. Strut brace. EuroSportTuning sells one. If you can find it buy an OMP. Do not buy the IPD USA economy strut brace it is crap.

2. IPD Sway bars. This is the only company that makes sway bars for our Volvo's. EVOLVE just came out with some for the newer s40's but has nothing for the older model Volvo's. So again IPD USA is your only source.

3. IPD USA's HD Endlinks

Do not worry about lowering your car we can't do it in the 1999 s70 awd. The rear Nivomat Self-Leveling system does't allow us to lower it. Also don't worry about shocks and struts either again the self-leveling rear suspension doesn't allow it. You could add lowering springs to the front but what purpose would that do, nothing. You can add the struts/shocks to the front as well and this will give you some performance. KONI's or Bilstein HD's for the front.
