Not too hard to do. Unbolt the old sensor, unplug it, and replace. Easy, really. Just don't overtighten the bolt. But before you replace the sensor, I assume you're getting a code? The sensors themselves don't fail too often. What DOES happen is the sensor ring on the wheel hub gets packed with dirt and brake dust, which makes the sensor pick up an erratic signal. Before condemning the sensor, remove the rear rotors. See that toothed wheel that rides just below the sensor? Clean it with brake cleaner spray and a stiff nylon brush. Be careful not to hit the sensor and break it off. Also, clean the sensor itself the same way. Do this on both sides, and clear the ABS codes if necessary. See if this fixes it- I'll bet it will.

Also, a bad ABS module will give false codes.
