Default ABS and TRACS OFF light

My wife's 98 S70 has an ABS and TRACS off light showing. From reading in here, that means the ABS module is bad. Can I unplug that module and send it off to the sponsor here and have it rebuilt and she still drive it while we wait for turnaround? Thanks Tom

Buck,

I just went through the same problem. The dealership wanted $980 to fix it. I sent it off to Victor in California, he fixed mine and provided excellent instructions for removing and installing the ABS controller. $140 was what it cost me to have fix it and ship it back. He has a quick turn around too.
You can't beat it.

I drove my car and it worked fine. I didn't have a speedometer, my trac system didn't work , and I didn't have cruise control while the ABS unit was out.

PM me and I will give you his contact info.
