AC Test

AC Test
*Start engine
*Turn blower fan to manual
*Press and hold AC and REC buttons in
You should have no lights flashing. If you do, there is an error code in the climate control.
This to my understanding can only be diagnosed by Volvo to get the codes. I have gotten access to AllData manuals. I can also say this, Volvo's climate control system is a very sophisticated system.
I am posting this because I still have AC problems. I checked the pumps clutch as posted here and the clutch is fine. Freon is good. My AC runs during the day for maybe five to ten minutes. Then if I shut it off for another 5 minutes and turn it on it will run again. I can prolong the running time by turning the blower on manual and setting both cabin temps to max at the blue. Here is the kicker. At night the system works flawless.
