I have a 2000 GLT/SE and I want to add foglights to the front. I have the lights and the car is prewired. I was told that I would need to buy a different relay so the car would recognize the lights. I didnt come with foglights form the factory. What relay do I need and how do I install?

I love my Volvo but this is way over the top.

 

The question is not how much you love your Volvo, it's how bad do you want fog lights.

 

When I added the fogs to my '98, I had to get the bulb failure relay (that's the expensive one) a separate fog lamp relay, and another device, which turned out to merely by a jumper wire masquerading as a relay.

 

Yea its not cheap to get fogs going on these cars.
