On my son's '98 S70 the air control motor arm was broken when I went to remove the evaporator. During reassembly I broke the the lever on the damper too. I have replacement ones and am wondering if anyone can help me on what position they need to be in and how to rig/adjust it properly?

I do not know why the motor arm was broken to begin with and I would like to get it back together properly.
