Another timing question
Hello, New here and great group/Forum. I have a question. I replaced the
head gasket on my 1999 Volvo S70 GLT Lined up crank and cam pulleys. Now putting back in cams, line up back of cam horizontally and my front timing Mark on the intake is perfect but tha exhaust is about 5 teeth off. I have the cams locked with my cam lock. When I try to turn the pully on intake it is solid. When I turn the exhaust pulley by hand it will turn about 5 teeth and line up perfectly. The exhaust side is the variable speed pulley, is this why it shows it is off time? Than k s very much....
