What are the Symptoms of a bad catalytic converter?
will the car be making noises like a bad muffler does,will it throw a Code?

 

It depends on what is wrong. Yes it can cause the O2 sensors to trigger a code. If it has a hole it will sound like a bad muffler. if the heat sheild is loose it will make a metal rattling sound.If the media is loose it will rattle like marbles in a can. if it is plugged the car will loose power. If the exhaust is noisy do a visual and look for rust or holes. Then we can help dial in the problem.

 

Start to lower power, you notice.
Why, because muffler is getting without exhaust by dust.
