Strange thing going on with the "Bulb Indicator Light". Touch brakes and the dash light that tells you there is a bulb that needs replacing comes on and then goes off. Does not happen all the time, but enough to think that you are seeing quick lights coming on the dash while slowing down. Have checked all the lights and bulbs and all are fine.
Any thoughts?

Are all the brake light bulbs the same brand bulb?

 

now I am not very good with cars, but could it be a faulty wire thats sending the signal late? Thus the light goes on thinking that the break lights are not reacting and then goes off as it gets the signal?

 

Not too sure about whether the are the same brand bulbs. typically buy replacements at one of two places.

 

Pull both and make sure the bases are the same.
If one side has brass and the other crome then that might be the problem.

The relay measures resistance between all the bulbs. If they are different that may be throwing the resistance off.
