I had work done and the dealer didn’t reset messages. Is the a way I can without going back Thanks in advance

 

what year/model is your car? the ability to reset the service indicator light varies but starting in about 1998 or so, Volvo went to a design where you hold in the the odometer reset then turn the key to position 2 to reset the maintenance interval without special tools.

1. Insert key in to ignition but don't turn it yet.
2. Press and Hold the odometer trip counter reset button.
3. Turn ignition switch to "run" position (Position II)
4. After Service light flashes, release odometer reset button.
5. Turn ignition off.
6. Turn ignition back on to confirm reset.

 

It’s a 05. V70 I’ve tried the key holding the reset for the trip. And the yellow triangle blinks but doesn’t reset

 

any notifications with the yellow triangle? See if the Tracs Control was accidentally turned off.
