Clunking sound from front driver side wheel
Hello all:
I recently purchased a 1999 S70 non-turbo knowing that I'd have to do a few repairs but not to the extent of: Struts, Heater Coil - hoses - firewall connector, Thermostat, ABS Module, oil/filter change and Cluster lights. I got a good deal on the car and I'm learning to work on it, so beside the unexpected expenses, I'm enjoying the experience. However, I'm a bit stumped on this next needed repair. When I go over bumps in the road, I hear a loud clunking coming from the wheels, so I put the front end of the car up on jack stands and with my hands at the 12 and 6 o'clock positions I moved each wheel to find the clunking sound. The passenger side wheel didn't move, but the driver side wheel moved quite a bit. It looks like the axle moves inward toward the motor/tranny area, but I'm unsure what needs to be replaced.
I really appreciate any insight or advice that anyone is able to provide.

ES6T sorry it took so long, I kind of put this car on the back burner. I couldn't figure out where the noise was coming from, so I took it to my local Vilvo mechanic. To report back like I said I would, it turns out that the spring seats are broken so they're causing the noise and they need to be replaced.
On a side note, my check engine light came on and he told me that either the tank pressure sensors wires are not well or the sensor itself need to be replaced. Any idea how difficult this job is?
