Unhappy Code for radio and anti theft missing

I had to disconnect my battery last weekend, and now I'm getting the "CCCC" or "OFF" in the led screen but nothing else when I turn my radio on. I looked through the book and there's supposed to be a card with the code on it somewhere. The question is, can I fix this without the code or is there somewhere else I can go to for another code or override?

If you're getting the "OFF" symbol, it means the radio is locked out from too many wrong codes being put in. To fix this, you have to leave the ignition and radio both on for 2 hours, uninterrupted. After this, it will say "CODE." At that point, you need to enter the correct code. To get the code, remove the radio from the dash, and write down the model number and serial number. Call your local dealer parts dept. and they'll usually give you the code over the phone.
