I recently bought a 98 S70 T5 in March inspected in MD. It does have 217000 mi on it but runs very well and is in very good condition. I love it. The other day DISC started showing up on the dash readout where the MPG is displayed. Yesterday noticed a slight vibration when I apply the brakes but not everytime. We have had some unusually wet weather this week. Today it had a loud vibraion when i reached about 30 MPH. I did have two 15 year old boys in the car with the trunk full of Baseball gear & 2 water coolers full. and a full tank of gas. when we got to the field I dropped them off and took it for a quick drive. the loud vibration did not happen again. Could it be the rotors?

 

Sorry, I feel like an idiot. That loud vibrating noise was because both rear windows were open. I know this because I took my dads car for a drive the other day and the same thing happed when I had his rear windows open. I still don't know what dISC means when it shows up on my dash.
