1. Does 98 s70 GLT have stock AMP?

2. How to install subwoofer from stock stereo? is it possible at all? does the stock stereo have output for subwoofer?

 

it would indicate amp on teh radio if it does. I belive some had small amps but I know mine doesnt. I would get an aftermarket radio if your going to put in subs.

 

where would it be located, the small amp do you know? built in to the stock stereo?

 

i think it would be, or right behind it, but it would say amp one the front. Also the subs would have big power lines goig to them.

 

you mean the subs in doors? Im still confused whether glt's came with amp, and if they did where its hidden?

 

I'm not sure of this, but I think the ones that came with the amp havea speaker in the middle of the dash. I know my son has this on his 98 V70R and I don't on my 98 V70 GLT.

o really? huh thats weird becuase they give no indication of it on the outside of the stereo. Do you have to use the amp or is it pre-connected?

 

I don't know much about installing stereo stuff but my friend has a 98 S70 GLT and he's got a subwoofer in the trunk that's really annoying. It works just fine, I just hate that much bass. Not sure if he has an after-market amp, but he has the original stereo. No, uh, deck, or whatever you call it.

 

so they dont have amps?? he prolly put one in

 

the amp is inside the stock stereo, it is built in there from the factory and setup you cant see it, you cant control it except bassor treble.
