Default Door Locks

My wife drives a 2000 Volvo S70. We bought it used with very few miles (30k) on it, but it had no lock fob. So my wife either has to use a key or the buttons on the door to lock her car. The problem is that when she uses the interior buttons to lock the door, she sometimes inadvertantly locks her forgotten key in the ignition.

We are wondering if it is possible to disable the interior lock so that the door will not lock on closure. It would be good if the only way to lock the car would be from the exterior using a key. Possible?

Default RE: Door Locks

I believe the only way would be to unplug the switch but then I believe it would disable all of them as well.
