ECC Code Help Needed
Ok, rather than re-hash an older thread.......
Car is a 98 S70 GLT and (of course) I have the dreaded blinking lights on the Electronic Climate Control panel. Here is what is going on. First off, no matter what the air flow position **** is set to I only get air out of the defroster ducts and some out of the dash vents. Fan works fine with no problem, except weirdly enough it stops blowing when you are traveling over 25 MPH. Once you slow down or stop, the fan picks up speed again.
I finally got a code reader that will read ECC codes and after clearing stored codes, I have a recurring code 124 - Passenger Compartment Temperature Sensor Signal Too High, and a recurring code 222 - Air Distribution Damper Motor Position Sensor Signal high.
So, where can I find the Passenger Compartment Temperature Sensor and the Air Distribution damper motor position sensor, and/or how and where do I proceed with troubleshooting?
Many thanks for the help......I really need it.
