ECU upgrade info/ question
I will give a history, then ask some questions.
I have a 98 volvo glt. I have swapped the motor to a 2.3 and put in a turbo to go with. I have a CEL reading that the SAS is faulty. I know that the pump is bad, it makes that whining noise when it kicks on. I am interested in bypassing the SAS system all together with an ECU upgrade. I have been interested in picking up an ECU from a t5, to finish my full conversion.
What ecu's are compatible with my 98, years that I can shop from?
Did the t5 have an SAS system?
How do I know if the ECU that I am purchasing is the right one? Are there part numbers that I can reference?
