Default ed Help Finding Aftermarket Parts

Hi Forum Members,

I'm hoping that one or more of you will be willing to share with me (and the rest of the Forum) some resources for finding standard but non-common parts of a Volvo C70.

Admitting that, for me, the Dealer is the LAST resort for buying parts that I can install myself, I'm trying to find a replacement for my center console arm rest pad. Living in AZ, I am not at all unaccustomed to the affects of the intense heat and the sun's radiation on a car's onterior. Mine has sucumbed to that and is cracking and splitting where my elbow rests on the center console pad.

I can only think of 2 places, a salvage yard and the Dealer that may yet bear fruit. I've tried several (4) auto parts stores and searched online but haven't found any place that sells that item.

Am I missing some place? Can you help?

Thanks.

Default Thank You

Thanks Quietly. They had the part but not in the color I needed. I asked them if they can get the color I needed and I'm waiting for a response. But this is greater progress than I'd made so far.

Thank you!

Tried ebay?
Also, I know leather seat "refinishers" only charge about 50 buck and thelook and wear like new. Fast, they can fix cracks like they were never there. Match colors too.

Default Thanks

The tip fromn Quietly just may work out since they asked me for my VIN. They may be looking to get it in the color I need. The cost is only $25, new. I can handle that!
