Can somebody tell me where the EVAP Carbon canister is located. I heard it was located on the battery side, right in front of the tire. Is this correct?

 

Some are there and others are under the car near the rear of the car.

 

Thanks, I'll check it out, the reason I was asking is b/c I have a 98 S70 and I was looking for the canister in the front and I couldn't find it. But it did seem to have a spot for it on the sub frame. But I'll check it out and let you know what I find.

 

welcome here! The carbon canister is usally under the battery. It is vented into the intake manifold via the EVAP valve. Hope this helps
