All you want is sound? If that is all you want any free flowing straight through design performance muffler will do.

-Magnaflow
-BORLA

Two examples that are on the market.

*Also while you may not be able to afford what is available prefabbed... You may be able to afford custom. YES custom, again YES custom. If you have a local muffler shop that can mandrel bend piping have them give you an estimate on a catback system and downpipe.

-3" mandrel bent downpipe
- 2.5" to 3" mandrel bent catback system w/ hi-Flow CAT to a free flowing straight through design muffler. Magnaflow or BORLA are good brands.

You could do this or should be able to do this for less then a prefabbed downpipe and catback system goes for from those two companies.

Also you should look into the OBX systems on EBAY that are available at like $400 for downpipe and catback system. Yes people have bought these and they do fit and work and people like them.

I have a supertrapp exhaust on my car and it sounds nice. I have a question about that aswell. The supertrapp exhaust has removable plates in it that adjust how it sounds. I've been running it with all the plates in it since I bought the car. Someone said to me the other day that it might be hurting my performance. Should I take all of the plates out so the exhaust flows more freely?

Unless your car is modded, removing the plates may give you a slight performance increase, but nothing too noticeable. Unless these plates are really restricting air flow.

Try and see what happens but if you gain any I cannot see it being enough for you to feel.
