Default fuel and trunk switch

My 99 volvo s70's fuel and trunk switch in the driver side door is not working. Is it just a blown fuse? How can I fix it? Is there another way to open the fuel door?

Thank you

I did it some time ago, I believe theres a latch inside the trunk.
Do not remember if in my case was the master switch or the central locking system.

I have tried finding the latch, but haven't found it. I read that it is in the trunk near the passenger side tail lights where the you replace the blubs, but I haven't found anything, even taking the bulbs out I still don't see anything.

I have a 99 volvo s70, does anyone know where the latch is to open the fuel door manually?

you can overide it manually by pulling the lever hidden behind the carpet cover on right rear side (pull off the cover from right tail light and you will see a latch)

I have that problem with mine occasionally, and what it is, usually the door lock/unlock switch in the front passenger door is sticky and partially depressed, and for some reason that makes the trunk and fuel door not work. If I jiggle the passenger door switch a little, then they work fine.

Might be worth a check to make sure none of your other switches are partially depressed, and see if that gets your fuel door working again.
