gear shift on automatic
My push button on gear shift is sticking. Can't get keys out. Shifter can be placed in any gear at any time. Any ideas of how to get it unstuck/prevent from happening again? Car is an automatic, year is 2000, S70

Best thing to do is replace the shifter ****.
It pretty much just pulls off. You have to twist the boot where it meets the **** to get the boot loose then pull teh **** off.
