Default Help: Found water on my floor.

Hello

The car has been sitting on my driveway for a few days not. It has snow all over it. This afternoon when I opened the driver side door the floor carpet was soaked with water. Same with the left passenger side. But the left front and rear passenger side carpet dry. I know the windows where completely closed and the car does not have a sunroof so that cant be the problem. Has this ever happened to anyone here.

Are you sure its water? Antifreeze leaking from the heater core can do that. If its water, the leakage could be coming from a host of things. Was the windshield replaced? Could the A/C drain be plugged. The floam around the doors could be leaking.

I touched the water and smelled it and does not smell like coolant so I would rule the heater core out. Also if the heater core was leaking the water color on the color would be blue or green right.

And I don't know if the winshield was ever replaced or not. I bought the car back in October so I only had it since 5 months. Does not say on the carfax report that the windshield was replaced.

Carfax only contains what is repoorted. Look around at the door seals. My son has a drip that drops on him during rain. There is a small tear in the rubber. I've never replaced a seal but I know its a job.

Also, is the cowl at the base of the windshield blocked up with tree junk? Was the snow blocked up on those vents?
