Ok I own a 1999 volvo s70 and Im looking for a proper mounting kit to install an after market radio. The unit Im interested is the Sony XAV-60 pictured below:



Im having a hard time finding a suitable double din mounting kit for the car. Any help that can point me in the right direction will be greatly appreciated. Where can i find one?? Ive looked around and Ive been unable to find one.

There is no direct kit to install a double din like that. You'll have to buy a mounting kit for something like an 04-08 F150, thats what I used for mine. The you'll have to modify the kit and your radio opening to fit. Once you do that there is no going back. Here is a picture of Mine, 99 S70 GLT.

 

I know this is an old thread but did the install kit look like this?
