I took the head off without putting it in time to do the head gasket. Is there anything i should know about putting this thing back together or just line it up like you would before you take it apart and slap the belt on? 98 s70 2.4 turbo. Also where can i get some head studs? Bottom end is built top is ported and pollished 850 injectors and i plan on some big boost on a green tune but i wanna stud it so i dont pop it again.

If you're pulling the head, putting it in time first is pointless. Buy the cam lock kit with the crank pin. Pin the crank before putting the head on. Then put the head on with the cams close and lock them after the cam cover is on.
