Immobiliser issue??
I have a 1999 S70 T that recently had an issue with the fuel pump relay. The relay has been replaced but now I am experiencing this issue.
When the car is cold, I can start it any number of times. I can then go for a long drive and all is well. It's only when I turn it off that it will not restart. It spark a rev or 2 then stops and will not restart.
It does have an ECM code ECM-720 A immobiliser communication ; Signal Missing Intermittent Fault.
Has anybody had this experience or know what the problem can be?
Unfortunately I don't have a second key so I cannot test if it is the key causing the issue.
I don't think that it is because there is no issue starting when the car is cold.
Thanks in advance.
