Default immobiliser problem

2000 S70 glt, looks like I might have an immobiliser ring problem, where can I buy a replacement or do I have to match up to the key? any insight will be welcome.

The antenna ring reads the chip inside the key. You can try a different
key, or you can try cleaning the contacts. Or replace the ring.

No, it just reads the chip.

antenna ring ordered, I tried a different key and still had problems, any idea why this only happens some of the time while some of the time it starts without any problems?

got it and installed it, so far so good, looks like some previous owner needed to get in there since some of the tabs were broken on the plastic covering the steering column. the paint on the screws to the wiper stalk were marred. any way, the whole ignition switch, wiper and cruise stalk assembly was a little bit loose around the steering column, is that normal, or do I need to go back in and try and tighten it.
