Depends on your driving history, age, etc.

When I was younger and had a lot of tickets on my record, Progressive had the best price that I could find. Later though, I think after passing 25 years and losing most/all of the tickets, I switched to Liberty Mutual which turned out to be the lowest price. I have never compared service because I've never actually had any claims.

That's not so bad... when I was 21, I was still living at home but working full-time and making decent money while going to school. I bought two brand-new cars (1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse and 2000 Toyota MR2 Spyder). With my driving record (15+ tickets and one accident into a house!), my insurance climbed to $450 per month! It was more than the MR2 car payment and not much below the Eclipse's payment. All told I was paying over $1300 per month on my cars! What a major waste of money. I do miss that MR2 though, so fun to drive.

I have a perfect driving record, and insure my volvo through farmers. It's an ok rate, about 400-450 every 6 months. On my volkswagen I have Progressive, and I pay all of 28 bucks a month to insure it. It's great because you can do everything online, and they have a large variety of plans/rates.

Wife is an adjuster for Kentucky Farm Bureau. She's the expert on insurance in our family. Just paid the bill for our house, boat, my daughters Camry & my Tahoe (didn't include my S60 or my sons 850) and I wrote them a check for $2,022.31[X(], and that's with her discount.
