iPod connector
I would like to hook my iPod Nano (2nd Generation) to my SC-816 radio. I know ipd sells one, but you have to have the 6 CD changer and I would really like to NOT have to buy an SC-820 or whatever the model is.
There is no SC 820. The SC 816 was the top line of that series of radio. They make an insert that goes into the 12V receptacle (formerly known as a cigarette lighter) that tunes to a specific FM frequency. You then plug your IPOD into this and it plays through your radio.
Blaze, do you have cassette? You can buy a cassette hook up at wal mart for about 10 bucks. Just plug into your headphone jack. I like this better than FM transmitter. If you can buy a direct ipod hook up that is probably the best though.
Yes, I already have the cassette player adapter...but the sound quality is horrible. I'm a band nerd/musican so I'm very picky about these types of things. And I do agree, it's better than the FM adapter.
