Has anyone installed ipod interface connector?
Couldn't find any recent posts in search. I would like to add an ipod direct line to the back of the sterio. The modules are about $79 and I have been quoted about $75 extra for install until they find out I own a Volvo then they say They will need twice the time and want twice the $ for labour. Is pulling out factory sterio in the V 70 really a big deal?

Ipods connection....
There are a number of ways to connect your Ipod to your radio. The easiest way with a FM cig. ligther connection . Plug in the part, turns your radio the a preset station and your done.. BUT.. you may get station interference from local ststions.... but it's easy. Wal Mart auto stereo dept. It works with any car , boat that has a cig. lighter.
Then there are antenna moduels.... $ 20 tops, one $2 switch , 1 Ipod cable. Takes about 1 hour. Unplug antenna, plug into part, connent to swith and then to power. Tune radio to preset station, flip switch and plug in inpod or XM radio.
REMEBER ... YOU MUST HAVE YOUR RADIO CODE IF YOUR RADIO REQUIRES ONE AFTER YOU REMOVE THE POWER FROM THE RADIO.
