Just got it!

Just got it!
I just bought a 1999 S70 T5 as my very first car. It has 140k miles, and of course, a few problems. I hope the people in this forum can help me out a bit. Here are my problems with the car (I'll sort them out by how annoying they are.)
1. (the most annoying problem) The brakes make an awful squealing noise for about the first 4 seconds after they are applied. The pads and rotors, according to the previous owner, were done earlier this spring, and she supposedly never noticed this noise. Also, when the wheels are turned, they make somewhat of a scraping noise. The scraping goes away after a hard stop, but comes back soon after. What could this be?
2. The suspension makes a lot of sqeaking and creaking. I think it's the rubber bushings. Does anything need to be replaced at the same time as these?
3. The front wheels are pretty loud. Is this the wheel bearings, and how much are they to replace?
4. The gear labels on the gear selector (P,R,N,D,3,L) do not light up when the lights are on. Should they, and if so, how do i get to the bulb? What type is it?
5. The radio does not like the station FM 99.9. It cuts out about every 5 minutes, and i have to press the preset button again to make it work. I have tried it on different presets. All the other stations in my area don't do this.
6. I only have one key. Is it possible that the other was sacrificed for the remote starter a year ago? And how much is a new one?
7. Last, for now, I really want HID headlights. Should I go with the PIAA's from IPD, or are they just not as cool looking?
Thanks,
James

RE: Just got it!
IPD USA doesn't sell HID's.
What your seeing on their website is a Halogen bulb regular old Halogens.
If you want HID's buy them from SharpHID.com and talk to John he will set you up.
Also HID's are not just bulbs. See to get HID's you need the full kit. Bulbs, Wiring, Ballasts and you can get this as a kit from SharpHID.com and for a good price too. I have a Apexcone 35W system from them with 5000k bulbs.
Also when selecting the bulb temperature. 4500k is the brightest there is. As you go higher all you get is a color change and also a decrease in the amount of light output (LUMENS). So if you want a different color go higher, but if you want the brightest go with 4500k-5000k.
Also these install on each side in about 15-30 minutes.

RE: Just got it!
Yes, the gear shift selector is supposed to light up. I had the same problem to on my '98 S70 GLT. My dad and I replaced the bulb a long time ago, so I'm not quite sure what bulb you need. It takes about 10-15 min. to change it. Just email or go to the nearest Volvo dealer and they should be able to order you the bulb.

RE: Just got it!
They will fall short of HID's. They may look blue like some HID's which in HID's is like 6000K bulb temperature.
But like I said before they will fall short and you wont be please.
HID's are supreme and anything that isn't HID just wont cut it for someone looking for HID's.
Also if your willing to pay $84+ for non HID's save your money and spend $100 for a Apexcone 35w system from SHARPHID.

RE: Just got it!
1. If the brakes werent replaced with volvo parts thats why.
2. Either spring seats or sway bar end links.
3. Could be bearing or it could also be the tires.
5. Maybe a problem in the radio.
6. New key will be between $100.00 and $200.00 depending on shops labor time near you.
Last the dash is kind of a pain to remove. Most likely the mounting tabs are broke.
Link to removing a 850 dash pretty much same as the 850.
