it does say universal, its just has some car types to get more hits
also what would I need to install that? I am not sure if the upper ic is metal on mine
1. You would need an ALUMINUM flange that fits the UNIVERSIAL HKS SSQV. And a length of vaccum line.

2. To check if your Upper IC pipe is ALUMINUM. All you have to do it tap it with a screwdriver or something else that is metal. You will instantly know.

There is no stock BOV.

It is called a CBV. I left mine be. I am running both a CBV and a BOV.

You can do this what I did and or block the CBV off with what is called a Blanking Plate. Which can be bought from, http://www.quickbrickmotorsports.com/prod_blanking.html

I have no idea what size flange would be ok for the HKS SSQV. Whatever UNIVERIAL ALUMINUM flange that is suppose to go with that UNIVERSIAL HKS SSQV.

Contact HKS and ask them.

Again contact HKS and ask them. I have no clue what size flange you need. I do know is that you need an ALUMINUM flange to weld to your ALUMINUM Upper IC Pipe.

That is a SpeedTuning USA ecu upgrade. I have one for my car. You can run that ECU upgrade stock, but I wouldn't. It would be better if you had supporting mods though.

DON'T DO AN ECU UPGRADE UNTIL YOU HAVE DONE EVERYTHING ELSE. Unless you don't plan on anything else.

I personally want to do more to my car, but I know money wont allow it. That is why I have an ECU upgrade right now with no supporting mods like a upgraded downpipe and exhaust system.

Ok do what you want, but what I am telling you is to do the ECU last. You will be better off and also take full advntage of all of the potential power from all the supporting mods.

Also a BOV on your car wont add any performance, it is just a noise maker. Same as mine is.

Well basically its like you said, money wont alow. I know the bov wotn add any performance but I like teh sound so after that and a ECU upgrade I wont really have any more money for awhile. AS fora full stage zero, I had the car check out and they siad everyhting was running fine(except for teh air pump), so will replacing working parts really help?

Replacing your OEM turbo hoses with Silicone turbo hoses will and same goes for the OEM rubber vaccum lines. Upgrading them to Silicone versions will help as well. Holds boost better. Also when you upgrade the turbo hoses get T-BOLT clamps they are much better then the OEM hose clamps.

STAGE ZERO is very important. It gets your car up and running to good standards. You don't have to do it, but it is a good idea to do it if your planning on what you are planning on doing in the future.

I would at least do the SAMCO turbo hoses w/T-Bolt clamps and silicone vaccum lines.

Plugs
cap/rotor
oil/transflush - Oil and trans fluids are good
filter (oil) - Oil filter still good
hoses (the little vac lines)
samco hose kit
02 sensors - still good
fuel pumps - still good
clean injectors
clean IC/IC plumbing
Air Filter - still good
plug wires

Dunno what the other stuff is, but I had the car checked out by a volvo mechanic and firestone. Neither of them mentioned that any of the other things would need ot be replaced. I will check those hoses.

At least get the SAMCO's and Stylin Motors Inc. vaccum lines. If you go the welded BOV route go with the Stylin Motors Inc. turbo hoses and vaccm lines as well.

well thats the question I have, teh vac lines seem to have been replced. Since they are a differnt color. If I took a pic of teh engine would you be abel to tell em if you think they are stock or not? and yes my upper ic is aluminum, got confused since its painted black like all teh otther rubber hoses.
