Default Low oil shut off

I have a 98 s70 na and it has a stuck valve and a big leak in the radiator i was driving and it was low on oil and colliant and shutoff while i was driving it seemed like a blown head gasket but theres no oil in the water im at a loss i dont know much about volvos but i am mechanicly inclined i did a compressionj check the no 2 cylinder has 10 lbs and all others r at 70 pls help

There is no low oil shutoff short of destroying the engine. Your compression numbers are all very low, they should be in the neighborhood of 200 PSI.

I guess the moral of the story is to not drive when the car is low on oil and coolant.

Doood, if you were mechanically inclined you wouldn't have been driving around with low oil and coolant.

The shut off is probably unrelated to the low oil and coolant unless you seized the motor. Did you check the timing belt?

My recommendation? Time to steal a bicycle.
