Default lowering the car and putting small deepdish rims

Anyone here have any pictures of this or done this on their s70?

Also, what's the price to lower your car nicely without sacrificing too much ride comfort, is that even possible? I don't know much about the different suspension parts or what should be done.

Also about the smaller deepdish rims: how does that affect the ride, handling, power or gas mileage of the car?

Any experience and advice in these would be appreciated.

Lowering is not that expensive. Please oh please don't put small deep dish rims on it. If you have an old Chevy Caprice Classic OK, but not a Volvo.

I have to agree with JKS on the deep dish.

Go larger. 18s. Low profile, wide. You will have VERY limited space in the wheel wells. So different or larger tire size isn't going to be very possible.

Eibach or H&R are the ones I would look at if you don't want to hurt ride quality.

I put 17's on my car 245 40 r17 and they rub like hell. i had to drop down to 215 40 17 to stop the rubbin on the inside fender wells.
