Default Mounting Driving Lights on Front Bumper on a 1999 s70

I was wondering if anyone has tackled the project of mounting extra fog lights or driving lights on the front bumper of an s70. If so how did you do it? I simply drilled into the bumper on my 240 wagon to mount some hellas and really miss the extra visibility it gave me driving in the snow and bad weather, but I'm a little skeptical of doing the same for the painted plastic bumper on the s70. I know there is some sort of bracket around for v70 police cars in Sweden where they take advantage of the license plate screws, any ideas where one could be found for an s70? Thank you very much!

You mean an additional set of fog lights in addition to the fog lights that you can mount in the front spoiler? Where do you live that you need 2 pairs of fog lights to see where you're going? lol

Yeahh, I was thinking of adding some on top of the bumper. I live in a very rural area in Maryland and constantly drive through snow storms on trips to Pennsylvania to go snowboarding. I don't have any extra lights currently, just the headlights. Do you have the stock fog lights on your car? If so, how do you like those?

The S70 comes pre-wired for fog lights. My GLT did not have them, so I bought a pair from a buddy. You'll also need a J relay under the dash and a front fog light switch in the dash. If you really want to do a nice install, you'll need the grill inserts too but they are not necessary. Install takes about 30 minutes from start to finish. Junk yard is perfect place to find this stuff. In my opinion, they are more for looks than functionality. Maybe with a higher wattage lamp they would be more effective but im not sure what max. wattage is for the lights.

Thank you very much, I think I'll go with that install and brighter bulbs. You can't beat something that's pre-wired.

If you look at my garage under my public profile, you'll see a photo of the front of my car. Look at the fog lights, they were junkyard jewels and i ordered the grill inserts from swedishautoparts.com. I even made a new volvo friend in the process!
