Default Need advice on '98 S70 purchase

I have the opportunity to buy a '98 S70 GLT with 211,000. Serviced by (and being sold by) an independent mechanic and owned by same woman for ten years. Rough shape on the interior but nothing I can't deal with. Doesn't have TRACS or heated seats, but has the nice woodgrain. Engine is in good order except for the ABS control module, which needs replacing (which I can do for around $90). That is causing some hesitation, rough idle, and of course the trip and speedo from working. Some interior switches are broken, which he's fixing. Slight front-end fender bender, but no frame damage. All major sensors, seals, fluids, and parts in good working order, including the transmission, brakes, battery, sunroof, and alignment. Maintenance records for the past ten years. The struts, tires, trunk struts, and radio mast will all need replacing on my dime. A slight bit of rust on the front from road rock damage. Some clear coat has come off, but I'm not worried about cosmetics. Spare tire, jack,

Asking price is $1,500, negotiated down from $1,800, which includes his personal warranty to fix any engine roughness that isn't solved by the ABS module replacement (it ran fine when it wasn't running rough, smoother even than my 850). It's still got great performance, better than I expected and I've driven plenty of the GLTs.

Does this sound like a good deal to you guys?

Also note that the major things that go wrong (that I know of), such as the rear main seal leak, oil leak at the turbo, MAF sensor failure, and timing belt and serpentine belt change have all occurred within the past few years and were fixed.

$1,500 isn't to bad but it sounds to me like $900 would be more in line with it having a poor cosmetic condition and damage.
