Default Need some input

I have a 1998 S70 that when making a left turn onto a curb there is a klunk noise. It's not the lower arm/ball joint ..that was replaced. The shock has about 60K miles . I tried to load the front suspension with a floor jack and cannot find anything loose.I would be grateful for any input .
Thanks
joe

I would check the sway bar end link and upper spring seat.

Sway bar link is also new .Could it be a bearing at the top of the shock?

Worn out outer tie rod ends can also cause a clunking noise on hard lock to lock turns. Several years ago I made the mistake of rebuilding the front suspension with non OEM upper strut mounts to save some $$$. Bad idea... within a couple of months I was getting consistent clunking from the front end.. sure enough the crappy Scantech aftermarket strut mounts were already worn out (or maybe just defective). Replaced them with OEM mounts and no problems in more than 18 months...
