Default Newbie; Looking to buy S70 GLT

My brother offered me a sweet deal on a 1999 S70 GLT.
I picked it up last night & drove it home 22 miles.
Mileage = 122k (he bought it in 2002 with 55K miles on it.
Body has one ding in the right rear corner.
Interior: Leather in fair shape, wood grain split around Transmission shifter.
Needs a good detailing inside and out. He only put 2K miles on it the last 2 years he has had it.

I am going to drive it for a couple of weeks before I decide to buy it or not.

The main thing I notice is the stopping distance seems excessive.

Do these cars require a lot of distance to stop?

What are some things i need to pay attention to while I demo it?

Thanks

i love mine, and the stopping distance doesn't seem that bad so maybe that one needs some brake work...

1999-2000 models have the electronic throttle body which has proven to be a problem. how does it drive, and are there any service lights on the dash?

how much is he asking?

Also be sure to check out when the car was last serviced. It will need new timing and serpentines belts if they haven't been replaced already.
