Default Not sure about my 98 S70 Purchase

I just purchase a 98 S70 Sedan (non-turbo). My daughter just got her permit, so I was looking for a reasonably priced, good-handling, safe car that she can learn to drive in and that we can use as an extra family car. I wanted a volvo and we bought it at a dealer on a whim because it seemed like a good deal. The car was a 1 owner, with 126K miles. We paid about $3400 plus tax and licensing. I drove it today and it drives great. All components seem to be working fine. I found a few non-mechanical issues, but nothing critical. It's stuff that I would normally expect on a 10 year old car. Today my DH seems to be having doubts. He talked to a mechanic and tomorrow we are going to have the car checked out. I know, we should have known better and done that before giving up the money!

I'm trying to ease my mind about the car. It seems to fit my requirements, but my DH's doubts have me wondering.
I'd appreciate any opinions, comments or concerns.
Thanks!

Welcome to the forums Atvinbaby.

The car has low miles for a Volvo and many more to go. Make sure the timing belt, brakes and tiresare good and your daughter will have a safe, reliable car for a long time to come.
